EXERCISE CLASSES

Aerobics
Following a routine of choreographed
moves working to music, your heart rate will go up and you will benefit from an increased ability to burn fat, as well as
improved overall body tone and co-ordination.
Body
Pump
An energetic group exercise using barbells and free weights which challenges your major muscle groups
by using the best weight room exercises like squats, lunges, presses, lifts and curls, and putting them to music.
Body Tone/Body Conditioning
A challenging and fun way to tone muscles, burn fat and build strength using light weights and resistance, resulting in
a low impact but high intensity work out.
Boxercise
A fun, energetic, challenging and safe workout for all age groups, based on the training principles used
by boxers to keep fit - shadow boxing, skipping, hitting pads, press ups, shuttle runs and sit ups. It is one of the
best stress busters around, and improves hand to eye co-ordination, balance and timing.
Fitball
A versatile form of exercise, using the unstable environment of a Swiss Ball as a dynamic way to combine traditional
and pilates style exercises. It provides one of the most effective programmes to call in the deep core stabilizing muscles.
It significantly improves posture, balance and enhances back care.
Pilates
A mat based programme using controlled, isometric movements designed to strengthen and lengthen muscles.
Whilst predominantly working from your "core", Pilates develops a great tone to the whole body. An excellent
form of exercise to improve posture, strengthen the lower back and reduce neck and back pain.
Spinning
Ride your way to a stronger and leaner body in an exhilarating, low impact group cycling exercise, inspired by powerful
and motivating music. A fantastic cardiovascular workout!
Step
An alternative form of aerobic exercise following a routine of choreographed moves to music, step is a fast
and fun way to increase the level of toning in the lower body and can be combined with the use of light weights, adding the
advantage of toning the upper body at the same time.
Yoga
A relaxing yet energizing
exercise using controlled, flowing movements which help tune the mind into the body, reduces stress, helps you to connect
with your core and results in a more relaxed, agile and supple body.

FULLY EQUIPPED GYM
All of our clients are offered a full orientation and a personalised programme when they first join.
If you
sign up to a full fitness assessment, we can properly measure your cardiovascular strength, your upper body strength, your
core strength and your flexility in order to recommend an exercise regime that will maintain your strengths and build on your
weaknesses.
Our qualified instructors will also provide individualised personal training sessions.
Our
fully equipped, air conditioned gym contains:
treadmills ellipticals/cross trainers rowing machines upright bicycles reclining bicycles fixed weight machines for upper and lower body workouts free weight station
for upper and lower body workouts
Members also have access to the fully equipped exercise studio when classes are
not taking place.
